happy on top of a mountain

Hello, my name is Irina, and I offer a unique blend of knowledge and experience. With a background as a massage therapist and yoga instructor, I have always been passionate about feeling good in my body, not just looking good, but feeling good every day. This desire for wellness and feeling good led me to study psychology, with a particular focus on somatic therapy. I focus my work with clients on holistic well-being (your wholeness) by supporting a strong mind-body connection.

NineCircleTherapy is 5 years in the making and was born out of a desire to help people feel more joy and less heaviness in their lives. Therapy is based on a proprietary technique that involves nine circular movements. These movements are designed to stimulate the vagus nerve, one of the most important nerves in the human body, and a part of the parasympathetic nervous system.

Healing is a process that takes time. I am a trauma-informed healer and have experienced multiple mental health challenges throughout my life journey. I know firsthand what it is like to deal with adverse childhood experiences, addictions, attachment issues, codependent relationships, and lack of self-esteem. I combine the wisdom and strength gained from my personal experiences with theoretical knowledge gained through education to facilitate positive changes in others’ lives.

I take special pride in helping women feel empowered and live their best lives on their terms. I am a mom, a feminist, and a lover of nature. I am currently in the process of becoming a Forest Bathing Instructor.

Here at NineCircleTherapy, we believe that getting out in nature is an essential part of well-being. Forest and ocean bathing are practices that can promote mindfulness, enhance mood, decrease anxiety, boost cognitive functions, and offer numerous other health benefits.

Whatever you have access to—a beach, a forest, a desert, a mountain, a backyard, a pond—use it. Come out and take some deep breaths while simply observing the natural world around you. Our lives can get super busy, filled with endless responsibilities and chores. Unplugging for a few minutes daily is one way to restore inner peace. Nature helps regulate the nervous system and is an accessible form of free therapeutic activity. It is a gift to be used.
